Xtremely Wild: The Florida Manatee
They have no enemies, nothing eats them, they fear nothing but what they don't know is big changes are coming. Florida's manatees love to hang out next to Florida's giant coal fired power plants because hot water from the cooling systems helps keep the animals warm during the cold winters. The manatees have migrated north as more power plants were built. The problem now (generations later) is that the manatees don't know where they came from and the state wants to turn the smoke belching plants off. The manatees will freeze. Join Xtremely Wild as we are invited to capture the power plant manatees for a check up and some radio tagging. Watch as Mark gets the rag doll treatment from one little manatee not too happy about having researchers piling on.
