A young man who has little sympathy for those who are different than himself finds himself transported to the past through a mysterious library. There, he befriends Helen Keller, a woman has become known as the "Eighth Wonder of the World," and through her he learns that the only disability is a disability of the heart.
Tragedy to Triumph tells the story of this amazing woman and her teacher, Anne Sullivan, through the eyes of a young man from our time. This story is more than simply the study of the life and times of Helen Keller... it's a lesson in acceptance.
This DVD comes with a Teacher and Student Handbook with contains lessons and activities to help reinforce what is taught in the video. Vocabulary, history, and other subjects are taught through activities, games, quizzes, and even suggested field trips.
